A LITTLE HELP, WHEN YOU NEED IT

Let’s find a little answer.

Something not quite right? Start with the answers below, or write to us. We’re here to help you find your way.

Tell us what happened

Include your iPhone model, iOS version, DayPho version, and the steps that led to the issue. Please leave private photos, journal entries, passwords, and backup files out of your first message.

[email protected]

Your email app will open. Nothing is sent until you choose to send it.

Your first little memory

Open Books and create a photobook. Choose a date in Calendar, add a photo, then select a feeling. A title, memo, and weather are optional. Save when you’re ready.

Use Books to browse your entries, or Search entries to find a memory by its title, memo, photobook, mood, or favorites.

Keep a separate copy

Open Settings → Backup → Create backup file. Save the exported file somewhere you control before changing phones, reinstalling DayPho, or deleting the app.

To restore, open Settings → Backup → Restore and choose your DayPho backup file. Restoring replaces the journal currently in the app, so back up that journal first if you want to keep it.

A backup contains photos, notes, and other journal details and is not encrypted by DayPho. Keep it somewhere safe. The current iOS app does not provide automatic DayPho cloud sync; we cannot recover a journal that was stored only on your device.

Photos and dates

DayPho uses Apple’s photo picker to open the images you select. For bulk imports, review the suggested dates before saving. A photo without an embedded capture date needs a date you choose.

If a photo will not import, try a still JPEG or PNG and check that the original is available on your device. Importing into DayPho does not delete the original photo from your library.

Reminders and appearance

Enable reminders in DayPho’s Settings → Reminder, and allow notifications when iOS asks. If a reminder is missing, check DayPho’s notification settings and your iPhone’s Focus settings.

Themes, fonts, text size, and language can be changed in DayPho Settings. The current iOS app includes English and Korean.

Share only what you choose

Open an entry or photobook and choose Share. Preview a day, week, or month, choose a card style, and decide whether to include the date, mood, weather, and photobook name.

Review the image before using the iPhone share sheet. The app or person you select receives the exported content under their own practices.
